This project seeks to rebuild a three-bedroom 1930’s bungalow in a highly sensitive coastal location on Exmoor. The replacement family home will be highly sustainable and will exist totally off-grid with the use of renewable energy resources. It will be built using low or zero embodied carbon materials, including untreated hardwood timber, wood fibre insulation and reclaimed dark clay roof tiles.
